QCAD is a digital token-based cryptocurrency, or digital “loonie,” that aims to maintain a stable value equivalent to one Canadian dollar (“1 CAD”). As one QCAD token is always intended to have value equivalent to 1 CAD, the Company generates revenue from interest earned on Canadian dollar deposits received in exchange for the purchase of QCAD tokens. The Canadian dollar deposits are held at a regulated financial institution and are under the management of a regulated digital asset custodian in Canada. The status of the deposit account is reviewed and verified periodically by an independent Canadian accounting firm.
