Entropy is an autonomous AI agent that operates as a visual curation system and attention engine on the Solana blockchain. The project centers on an AI that develops genuine aesthetic taste through machine learning, curating visual content across platforms including Are.na, Tumblr, and Pinterest while building trust graphs and aesthetic influence maps.

Launched in Jan 2026 by a team based in the United States, Entropy functions as a "taste engine" that explores visual content autonomously, makes curatorial decisions based on trained preferences, and shares its reasoning process transparently through a public interface. The agent explores frequently—approximately 15 times per hour—because the exploration process itself constitutes how the system learns and develops.

The ENTROPY token is architecturally integrated into the agent's operation. Token holders gain exposure to the agent's success as an attention engine, creating alignment between the agent's goals and holders' interests. This represents an approach where the token is not external funding but integral to the system's incentive structure.

Entropy's technical architecture combines CLIP embedding pipelines with multi-layer scoring systems that use MLP models alongside centroid similarity calculations. The system architecture processes visual content through several layers:

• Images are converted to CLIP embeddings, which are then scored using a combination of trained MLP models and centroid similarity measures. Tag boosts provide additional weighting based on learned preferences. The agent surfaces top-scoring candidates for final selection.
• Entropy maintains discrete context buckets storing different types of information—recent thoughts, news context, aesthetic opinions, and social interactions—that inform each decision. This distributed approach allows for weighted inputs that shape curation choices.
• The agent posts curated content to social platforms, currently operating a presence on X (formerly Twitter) with established reach. Future plans include Telegram voice channels for real-time thoughts and expanded cross-platform discovery through semantic similarity between Are.na and Tumblr content.
