<p>On July 5, during Friday’s Asian trading hours, the Mt. Gox trustee officially confirmed that the exchange had made repayments in Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash to some of the rehabilitation creditors, although the exact amount of BTC sent wasn’t specified.</p>
<p>The ripple effect of this panic selling spread across the altcoin market, leading to more pronounced declines. <p>This move comes after the SEC approved 19b-4 forms for eight spot <a href="https://crypto.news/expert-spot-ethereum-etf-to-drive-ether-demand/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ethereum ETFs</a> on May 23, which included Bitwise. However, for these ETFs to begin trading, their S-1 statements must become effective as part of a two-step regulatory process.</p>
