Crystal Fun has announced a $5 million seed round from KuCoin Ventures, Comma3 VC, Stratified Capital, Water Drip Fund, Cypher9 Ventures, aelf Blockchain, Actoz Soft and Masverse among others.
The company will use the capital to accelerate the development of its decentralised gaming ecosystem that allows developers to add <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/what-is-a-blockchain-game/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Web3 gaming</a> features to top-tier games. Crystal Fund has already announced four major gaming titles added to its ecosystem including OUTER, which has completed its first testing phase, Endless War, STARFALL2312, and Survivor.
The company boasts a strong team of industry veterans who previously worked at Ubisoft, Gameloft, Glu, Tencent, Shengda Games, and Actoz. According to the announcement, the company plans to ‘revolutionise’ the gaming industry by seamlessly integrating top-tier games within sustainable economic systems.
Commenting on his company’s strategic investment in Crystal Fun, Lou Yu, Head of KuCoin Ventures said in a statement: “We are thrilled to partner with Crystal Fun and support their vision of creating a decentralized gaming ecosystem that is both entertaining and economically sustainable. This investment aligns with our commitment to fostering innovation in the blockchain space and we are excited to be part of the next evolution in gaming.”
