About Corvantis

Corvantis is a protocol on Arbitrum that provides verifiable data services and AI compute. It is intended for smart contracts, AI agents, and enterprises that need to confirm that data has not been altered and that a computation was executed as stated. The project’s native token, CRVT, is an ERC-20 token issued on Arbitrum One.

Smart contracts are not designed to store or query large historical datasets, so applications that need such data often depend on a centralized API or oracle. Separately, AI agents increasingly read data and run inference autonomously, but there is no standard way to prove which data and model a given result used. Corvantis addresses both by having independent operators return results together with cryptographic proofs.

The protocol is organized into three layers. The Data Center layer ingests data from Arbitrum and other EVM chains, off-chain APIs, and enterprise feeds, and indexes it into queryable datasets. Each dataset carries a cryptographic commitment, which lets a consumer check that a query result is consistent with the underlying data without downloading the full dataset. The AI Infrastructure layer lets developers submit inference and lightweight training jobs, specifying the model, the dataset, and a price in CRVT. The executing node returns the result with a job receipt that references the exact model version and dataset commitment used. The Blockchain Services layer exposes these outputs to smart contracts on Arbitrum as data feeds and verification hooks through on-chain adapters. It may later extend to other EVM chains, with settlement remaining on Arbitrum.

Four participant groups operate the network. Node Operators run data and compute nodes and stake CRVT as collateral. Validators re-check a sample of queries and jobs. Delegators assign their stake to Node Operators and share in fee revenue. Consumers pay CRVT for services. Provable misbehavior, such as returning incorrect results, falsifying a job receipt, or extended downtime, results in a portion of the node’s stake being slashed. Slashed tokens are redistributed to the party that proved the fault and to the protocol treasury rather than burned. Delegators bear a proportional share of any slashing.

CRVT has a fixed maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. It is used to pay for data queries and compute jobs, to stake as collateral, to receive a share of network fees as a staker or delegator, and to vote on protocol parameters. The protocol does not include a token burn mechanism. The allocation is 28% to the Ecosystem Foundation and Treasury, 20% to Ecosystem and Network Rewards (emitted over four years), 19% to Public Sale and Liquidity, 15% to Team and Core Contributors, 15% to Private Investors, and 3% to Advisors. Team, investor, and advisor allocations are subject to cliff and linear vesting schedules.

Governance is planned to move through three phases: foundation-led parameter setting, hybrid governance with binding CRVT holder votes on treasury spending and emissions, and full control by the Corvantis DAO through on-chain voting with timelocks.

As of the September 2026 whitepaper, Corvantis is pre-launch and CRVT has not been issued. The roadmap begins with a Data Center testnet on Arbitrum Sepolia. It continues with a mainnet launch on Arbitrum One alongside the token generation event, an AI Infrastructure beta, and on-chain data feed integrations. Team details and legal entity information are planned for publication with the testnet launch, and independent smart contract audits are planned before mainnet.
