BitShares PTS (PTS) is the native cryptocurrency of PTS Production, an independent, open-source blockchain network launched on September 3, 2026. The project restores the historical ProtoShares/BitShares PTS v2.0.1 technology while operating as a separate blockchain, rather than a continuation of the original public mainnet.

PTS Production uses Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus with 101 delegates and a target block interval of 10 seconds. Its genesis preserves 55,044 historical balance entries on a one-to-one basis, representing an initial supply of 176,359,437.874154 PTS.

The network is currently in its bootstrap stage. Its two initial nodes and all 101 delegate keys are operated by a single operator, with progressive decentralization identified as a development objective.

PTS is a native blockchain asset, not a smart-contract token. The project has not yet established exchange trading or a verified market price.
