What is Bribe Protocol (BRIBE)? Bribe is a DeFi protocol that creates DAO infrastructure tooling to incentivize governance participation.

Our first product, Voter Extractable Value (VEV), coordinates voters into powerful coalitions up for auction. Depositors stake their governance tokens in a Bribe pool to earn income; bidders borrow the staked votes to support or reject governance proposals.

BRIBE is the utility token of Bribe Protocol. BRIBE is an essential platform component that allows community members to participate in protocol governance and revenue-sharing.

Who are the founders of Bribe? Condorcet, Governor C, and Cleisthenes are the brains behind Bribe. The team was introduced through Composable Labs, a DeFi incubator.

Condorcet is the CEO of Bribe, coming from a background in DeFi project management. Governor C is the CTO and is a former top contributor at Gitcoin. Cleisthenes is the CMO and a former marketing consultant.

How many BRIBE tokens are in circulation? Bribe Protocol launched its mainnet on January 27, 2022 with 100 million BRIBE tokens created at genesis. No additional BRIBE will be minted. At time of writing, there is a circulating supply of approximately 1.4 million BRIBE.

50% of the total BRIBE token supply is designated for distribution as ecosystem emissions to incentivize participation in Bribe’s network. 10% of tokens are designated to the Bribe Treasury. 2.5% of tokens were allocated for distribution during a Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP) event in January 2022. 20.5% of tokens were sold during private presale events. 17% of tokens are allocated for the Bribe team and its advisors.
