Creation Orbs (CTO) is the utility token of SquadX: a Web 3.0 social app that contains planet chat groups and gaming design. SquadX is developed on the concept of socialise-to-earn where users can earn CTO tokens through exploring, socialising, and answering questions while owning a NFT Planets. The scope of CTO tokens includes upgrading, repairing, and minting of NFT Planets. Users can also trade their NFT Planets and boost items in the app Marketplace.

In order to join the project, a simple guideline is as follow. First a user has to create an account with third-party wallet such as Meta Mask and Connect Wallet. The user then has to download SquadX mobile app and go to Marketplace to purchase Space Stations to conquer a Planet. Each Planet can Explore once per day by completing the mini quiz, and will be rewarded with CTO according to Planet stats.

SquadX was established in December 2020 by Meraki X Limited, based in United Kingdom. In the first quarter of 2021, the core team was established.

Derek Ho is one of the co-founders of SquadX. Ho is a self-made serial entrepreneur, and his visionary mind has been focused on cryptocurrency since 2017. Ho’s mission is to help accelerate the mass adoption of this revolutionary technology and firmly believes that blockchain will make the world a better and fairer place.

Ann Chiu is also a co-founder of SquadX. Chiu manages the human resources department and coordinates the office schedules across three cities around the world. Her attention to every detail allows the organization to scale and run smoothly.

Victor holds the position of COO in the company. Victor brings a wealth of experience and vision in marketing strategy, business operations, and product design. With over 10 years of experience in gaming and successfully incubating several projects, he is excited to apply his experience and perspective in a new crypto space.

Creation Orbs (CTO) are the primary "earning" and "spending" tokens inside the SQUADX ecosystem.

CTO is an inflationary token with no defined maximum supply. As of May 2022, there are 10,200,000 $CTO in circulation.

To foster a healthy ecosystem with a balanced burn and mint ratio, CTO is burned (destroyed) whenever there is user expenditure. This includes the purchase of Space Stations, Upgrade Parts and Keys from the Gigafactory, and the construction of new Space Stations.)

SquadX, a socialise2earn mobile app, as well as its utility token — CTO, are powered by Binance Smart Chain (BNB).

Binance Smart Chain is secured by the Tendermint byzantine-fault-tolerant (BFT) consensus mechanism. While ERC-20 tokens rely on the proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus, which allows them to be extremely scalable, and allows for the creation of smart contracts. Unlike PoS, the Binance blockchain does not support smart contract functionalities. In contrast, the Bitcoin blockchain is secured by the proof-of-work (PoW) consensus, which is far more limited and consumes large amounts of electrical and computing power.
