KlayLend is a decentralized lending & borrowing protocol and staking platform running on Klaytn. Asset holders or borrowers can lend and borrow cryptocurrencies with dynamic interest rates through KlayLend. Additionally, borrowers do not need to worry about assets being suddenly liquidated due to the protective mechanisms designed by KlayLend. Compared to other lending platforms on Klaytn, KlayLend offers a more promising interest rate for liquidity providers (lenders) and borrowers. If the assets deposited in the Klaylend Staking Pools are not borrowed by other users, your assets will remain on KlayLend; users will also receive compound returns for the position (Klaylend V2 will introduce auto-compounding). If other users borrow your assets, in addition to the interest, you can also enjoy staking yields. The interest on the lending asset will track KlayLend's lending interest curve. Lenders will also receive additional KLD rewards for providing liquidity, which will encourage participation from liquidity providers. With proper LTV settings, KlayLend helps users reduce the possiblity of liquidations while ensuring they can borrow enough stablecoins.Users can borrow assets tied to the value of the collateral at any time. For example, if users deposits BTC, ETH, then they can borrow stablecoins such as USDT and USDC in accordance with the principle of maximum 80% of collaterals. For the convenience of users and to increase the revenue from Dex and Defi protocols in the Klaytn ecosystem, KlayLend V2 offers an Auto Compounding option. Deposited funds give returns for $KLD Token in Vaults that enable the Auto Compounding feature. KlayLend automatically harvests yield returns and converts to LP and redeposit LP into Vaults for the next round. KlayLend DAO in V2 is built to operate with far less top-down ownership, incentivizing community members to drive outcomes, and thereby promoting a broader diversity of initiatives and outcomes than traditional companies.
