What Is IBVM?
IBVM (International Bitcoin Virtual Machine) is a Layer 2 network built on Bitcoin that uses zero-knowledge rollup (ZK-rollup) technology to support smart contracts and decentralized applications. Transactions are executed on the IBVM rollup, while Bitcoin's base layer provides security and final settlement. This lets developers build programmable financial applications that settle on Bitcoin without changing the Bitcoin protocol.
IBVM mainnet launched in [June 4th, 2026]. According to the project, the network has recorded more than 300,000 wallets, 10,000 developers and 10,000+ deployed smart contracts.
The platform provides infrastructure services for businesses and developers, including Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS), Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS) and Exchange-as-a-Service (EaaS). It also supports AI-assisted smart contract creation and cross-chain deployment to more than 65 networks. An institutional multi-signature wallet product is scheduled for release in August 2026.
Who Are the Founders of IBVM?
IBVM was founded by a team based in Australia. Dr. John Sajadi is Founder, CEO and President. He completed doctoral research at Deakin University in Melbourne on blockchain energy consumption and distributed ledger solutions for carbon accounting. Alok Agrawal and Romil Jain are co-founders and serve as Founders and Vice Presidents.
What Makes IBVM Unique?
IBVM brings smart contract execution to Bitcoin through ZK-rollups. Transactions are batched off-chain, and a cryptographic validity proof is generated for each batch. That proof can be verified without re-executing every transaction, which reduces cost and increases throughput while keeping settlement tied to Bitcoin.
The network also includes a two-tier privacy architecture called the Crystal Layer. It is designed to let institutions keep sensitive transaction data confidential while still supporting verifiable settlement. IBVM uses a phased approach to bridging assets between Bitcoin and the Layer 2 network.
The project is also developing USDi, a stablecoin designed with Bitcoin-anchored collateral and a banking consortium model. It is intended for institutional payments and automated, AI-driven commerce.
How Many IBVM Tokens Are There in Circulation?
IBVM has a maximum supply of [1B] tokens. The token generation event will take place in [8th of October, 2026]. The allocation is: [25.5]% for the community and ecosystem, [15]% for the team, [0.374]% for investors, [17]% for the treasury and [6.8]% for liquidity. Team and investor allocations are subject to [vesting schedule of 12 months cliff and 3 years vesting]. The token is used for [transaction fees / staking / governance / other].
How Is the IBVM Network Secured?
IBVM inherits security from Bitcoin by settling transaction data and validity proofs on the Bitcoin base layer. Because every batch of rollup transactions carries a zero-knowledge proof, state changes cannot be finalized unless the proof is valid. Transaction ordering on the Layer 2 is handled by [sequencer model]. Institutional custody is supported by multi-signature wallet controls.
Where Can You Buy IBVM?
IBVM is available on [MEXC, Uniswap and Robinhood].
