Founded in 2019 by Anderson Vasconcelos, a former blockchain market analyst, and later joined by Pedro Bufulin, a computer science prodigy from the Federal University of Uberlândia with over two years of EVM network experience, Equals9 was born out of a passion for blockchain education and adoption.

Anderson envisioned a company that could educate the masses about blockchain and integrate this transformative technology into markets that had yet to harness its potential. Equals9 serves as a beacon for awareness, guiding people in understanding wallets, tokens, and decentralized services.

While many questioned the establishment of a holding company preceding its subsidiaries, Anderson's acquisition of HiveGames paved the way for the development of EqualsSport. Drawing from his two-decade-long experience in competitive e-sports, Anderson recognized the profound impact blockchain could have on the industry.

However, maintaining integrity was paramount. Before launching a token, Anderson shifted Equals9 from an LLC to a CJC to attract private shareholders for project funding. Now, with over 19 shareholders and a 30-strong workforce, Equals9 has acquired five subsidiaries, implemented a Shared Service Center, and continues to create job opportunities.

At the heart of our endeavors is EqualsSport, an e-sports tournament platform where enthusiasts, from players to fans and event organizers, can seamlessly create and join tournaments globally through the blockchain.

The EQ9 token, an ERC-20 utility token, powers our ecosystem and is used for:
