Colend minted 100 000 000 CLND at launch. About 3 680 000 CLND (≈ 3.7 %) are in public hands as of 24 April 2025. Future emissions are scheduled, but the split between depositors, borrowers and other incentives has not yet been disclosed.

The code is maintained by an open collective of builders drawn from multiple crypto niches—NFTs, DeFi, infrastructure and blockchain architecture—coordinating through a DAO wallet and public governance.
