How Many METL Coins Are There in Circulation?

Liquid METL (METL) launched on April 20th, 2022 with a fixed supply of 420,000 tokens.

No tokens were given to the founders or the team. Over 85% of all tokens were set-aside for the Forge and future earnings.

What Is Liquid METL (METL)

Liquid METL is the currency of the ApeLiquid ecosystem. It was created with one goal in mind, to make all apes liquid. It is immediately swappable to and from ETH and is backed by multiple liquidity pools. It has been in circulation and used for buying and selling assets privately and publicly since April 20th, 2022.

Launch Details

Liquid METL was launched on April 20th, 2022 with a price of $1 USD per Liquid METL token.

At the time of launch, Ethereum (which is the underlying Uniswap liquidity for METL) was almost $3,500. Since launch, METL has transacted millions of dollars, hundreds of ETH and proven to be resilient as a Uniswap/ERC-20 token

Use Case: The "Forge"

ApeLiquid, the creator of the Liquid METL token, built the METL Forge -- a staking platform which allows anyone who holds METL to Forge (or stake) Liquid METL and earn 1% of METL every 30 days and withdraw it at any time.

In addition, we created the Liquid Forge -- an NFT staking platform which allows anyone with a Liquid Key to stake one of over a dozen currently available NFTs and earn 1% of their floor price each month in METL. This includes both ecosystem assets (Liquid Legends, Liquid Invaders, Azuki Ape Social Club, Typical Tigers) and other assets such as Otherdeeds by Otherside, Crypto.Chicks and more.
