Mintera is launching its mainnet with 65 million Mintera Tokens created at genesis. That total supply is fixed and will never increase. The Mintera Token contract includes a burning capability, so the total supply may decrease in the future.

30% of the total supply makes up the ecosystem fund, consisting of a locked treasury and the Mintera Grant funds. Another 20% makes up the Mintera fund with locking periods up to 24 months.

As a member of the Regenerative Finance (ReFi) movement, Mintera exclusively uses energy efficient solutions, works with climate organizations, and offsets all its emissions and more to reach net positive.

Mintera has 3 sustainability pillars:

• Financial commitment: Mintera donates 50% of its profits to environmental organizations, and 6.5M MNTE is used to fund green innovations (grant program).
• Investment methodology: Mintera only uses the most energy efficient blockchain solutions and reduces its own footprint by using renewable.
• External audits: Mintera works with climate partners and carbon footprint experts.

The CEO of Mintera is Julien Marcadé, serial entrepreneur, founder of the blockchain consulting firm Marcazor Conseil, and former Director of the Blockchain Practice at Synvance.

The core team has been involved in the blockchain ecosystem since 2016 and consists of experienced entrepreneurs, developers and engineers.
