小兔围绕一个明确的目标展开——将这些文化角色从企业商标的束缚中解放出来。这并不是无视现有体系,也不是假装它不存在,而是选择正面进入这个体系,用企业所依赖的价值、规模和参与方式,与之展开同一层面的竞争。

小兔从 Hello Kitty 开始。几十年来,她的名字、形象以及所有表达形式,完全由商标权和商业策略塑造。小兔并不把 Hello Kitty 当作对抗对象,而是把她视为一个起点——一个例子,展示文化角色如何被锁定在几乎不给集体表达留下空间的系统之中。

小兔没有走传统公司的路径,而是通过链上工具和社区参与,围绕 $TU 本身建立价值。逻辑也很直接:如果文化角色被资本所“囚禁”,那么资本本身就是必须使用的语言。$TU 成为一种方式,让参与者能够共同积累价值,并在同样的结构中展开竞争。

Xiaotu ($TU) is an experimental token project created by students across China. It started from a simple realization: many of the cultural icons we grew up with are now tightly controlled by corporate trademark systems, leaving little space for open participation, reinterpretation, or shared ownership.

Xiaotu is built around a clear mission—to liberate cultural icons from the confinement of corporate trademarks. This is not about ignoring the system or pretending it doesn’t exist. It is about engaging with it directly, using the same tools of value, scale, and participation that corporations rely on.

Xiaotu begins with Hello Kitty. For decades, her name, image, and every form of expression have been shaped entirely by trademark ownership and commercial strategy. Xiaotu treats Hello Kitty as a starting point, not a target—an example of how cultural icons become locked inside systems that leave little room for collective voice.

Instead of following a traditional company model, Xiaotu uses on-chain tools and community participation to build value around $TU itself. The idea is straightforward: if cultural icons are held captive by capital, then capital is the language that must be spoken. $TU becomes a way to accumulate value collectively and use it to compete within the same structures that currently control these icons.

This project is not a finished product and does not promise specific outcomes. It is an ongoing experiment shaped by the people who participate—testing whether a student-driven, decentralized community can play the same game as large corporations, and eventually change the balance.
