What is Very Banking (VB)?
The Very Banking protocol allows users to effortlessly lend, borrow, stake, invest and earn interest using their digital assets. Depositors providing liquidity to the protocol earn yield, while borrowers are able to borrow by over collateralizing their Positions. The VB ecosystem is multi-chain and therefore will support most L1 EVM based chains.
VB is the native utility token that is used for:
- Redeeming protocol revenue
- Used for governance votes to determine how to expand the network
How Many VB Tokens Are There in Circulation?
The Very Banking protocol deployed the ERC20 VB token on the Ethereum mainnet November 13/2022 with 100 billion VB tokens created at genesis. 5% of the supply is dedicated to development each year to support the network growth. Remainder of supply will be distributed by governance as the community grows and products are deployed across several EVM blockchains. Protocol owners will require VB to be sacrificed every time they claim ownership fees, making the VB token a deflationary model.
