Launched in August 2019, STASH describes itself as an open-source digital currency that combines protocol features from Bitcoin, Dash, and Zcash.

The goal of STASH is to bring together multiple blockchain attributes in one digital currency to provide users with fast transaction speeds, low transaction costs, scalability, strong privacy, and practical governance while building on top of proven blockchain technology.

In addition, Stash provides users with a 2nd tier iNodes network layer. Inodes are servers that keep a full copy of the Stash blockchain and provide decentralized services such as instant transactions and governance in a trustless manner.
