BarnBridge, founded in 2019, is a protocol for tokenizing risks. It was launched in September 2020. BarnBridge is a sort of decentralized finance (DeFi) lego for creating tradeable tokens that expose a consumer to market volatility. As of March 2021, the platform is still in an early stage of launch.

To learn more about this project, check out our deep dive of Quant.

BarnBridge is a project that expands the functionality of DeFi to make it more flexible and efficient. By tokenizing market fluctuations and exposure to risks, it can reduce volatility for conservative investors or increase it for daytraders. BarnBridge enables traditional risk management tools and fixed income instruments on the DeFi market. The main focus is dividing cryptocurrency risks into tranches so market participants, depending on their risk profile, can invest in different products or assets.

Hifi is a decentralized finance protocol that allows people to lend and borrow crypto at a fixed interest rate.

Hifi is made up of decentralized interest rate markets that mature on specific dates. Hifi markets use an Automated Market Maker model, in which users supply tokens to “liquidity pools” and an algorithm sets the interest rate based on supply and demand.

Users supply liquidity, borrow, or lend into any of the active markets. Borrower’s pay a fixed interest rate to lenders without needing to negotiate terms like maturity, interest rate, or collateral. By supplying tokens to liquidity pools users can earn rewards while enabling peer-to-peer lending and borrowing.

Hifi Governance is the community organized process for managing the Lending Protocol. HIFI is an ERC-20 token that gives its owner the ability to delegate voting rights to any address, including their own. The delegate's voting rights are automatically adjusted when the owner's token balance changes. Hifi Governance enables the community to propose, vote on, and implement changes via the administrative functions of the Hifi Protocol. Proposals can change system parameters, support new markets, add entirely new collateral types, or deploy resources towards specific causes.

Hifi was originally known as Mainframe when it launched in Nov. 2017. Mainframe began as a decentralized communications layer for Web3 but pivoted to Decentralized Finance and rebranded to Hifi in early 2020.

Hooked Protocol is the pioneering immersive edutainment network to onramp the next billions of people into Web3. Hooked’s mission is to drive Web3 massive adoption by providing immersive, gamified, and social learning experiences.

Hooked offers a seamless and intuitive onboarding path for both learners and builders through offerings of 3 focuses of their businesses: Infrastructure, Academy & Ecosystem.

As of now Hooked has launched 3 dApps and products: Wild Cash, a Quiz-to-Learn Web3 bootcamp product for elementary learners with over 3 million monthly active users; ToDaMoon, a livestreaming Learn-to-Earn product for preparatory learners with 1,000,000 total competition participation; Hooked Academy Sensei, a Learn with AI-Sensei & exploratory learning product powered by AI technology with over 100,000 registered learners.

Hooked is also developing itself towards substantial development of Web3 onboarding infrastructures to onramp builders, and meanwhile forging powerful partnerships and robust economic vitality within the ecosystem to boost massive adoption.

Hooked tokenomics adopts a segregation strategy by applying a single token (HOOK) oriented structure, reflecting real value and enabling common use case functions, to avoid the scenario where pump and dump schemes happen.

HOOK is the only governance token with liquidity in the ecosystem, designed to reflect the value that flows across the Hooked platform with limited supply and scheduled emission scheme.
HOOK’s long term value is tied with the confidence people hold for the project, and the supply of HOOK is fixed and designed to be deflationary.

HOOK token utilities are mostly built in for community governance, gas tokens for platform on-chain activities, staking incentives as holding rewards, social elements demonstrations with status signaling and individuality, and for more long-range objectives, valuable innovations contributing to the ecosystem thriving. More details about our token $HOOK, please refer to: https://hooked-protocol.gitbook.io/hooked-protocol-whitepaper/hooked-tokenomics/hook

With its academy, infrastructure, and ecosystem, Hooked aims to revolutionize Web3 education and bring new forces to onboard Web3.
