Nemesis Downfall is a play-to-earn, multiplayer, first-person shooter video game that features both free-to-play, and paid competitive, tournament-style gameplay, which allows players to maximize their potential winnings. The game is PC-client-based and integrates blockchain, but will ultimately also be Android, IOS, and console compatible.

The concept of Nemesis Downfall combines elements of arcade shooters with special perks and weapons defined by custom weapon classes, and is centered around several game modes including battle royale, deathmatch, and one-in-the-chamber. Nemesis Downfall is a competitive, fast-paced game that requires speed and skill to win. Victory will also require short-term strategic thinking, cunning, tactical knowledge, and team coordination. Mechanically, the game is smooth and moderately-technical.

Before loading into a match, players are prompted to select a map zone, gamemode, and loadout. Each loadout utilizes a unique set of weapons and perks, providing players with different strategic advantages and disadvantages that match their personal playstyle on the battlefield. If a given player comes into possession of a rare or valuable asset that they would like to leave the game with before the game ends in order to avoid the risk of losing it, they must convince their entire team to locate an ‘escape zone’ so that they can get to safety.
