Launched in December 2018 by a team in Hong Kong and Asia, JOULE aims to reflect global consensus and lift people out of poverty with a blockchain app. JOULE – Global Popularity Index aims to be a public utility like a real-time global sentiment tracker. It is a marketplace where users can trade on the popularity levels of public figures to earn tokens. It gives users a voice and a monthly income through teaching others blockchain. On the platform, the Joule token is at the same time the unit of price, the unit of popularity index and the cryptocurrency (symbol: JUL).
