C3 is a permissionless, automated carbon bridge built on the Polygon blockchain. It is an application that integrates some of the most innovative DeFi mechanics with the on-chain carbon market. One of C3's core pieces of infrastructure is its automated carbon bridging technology, which allows a carbon credit to be bridged onto the blockchain by collecting its key metadata and creating a one-for-one copy on the blockchain as a "tokenized carbon credit."
