Bellscoin was created 8 days prior to Dogecoins birth, by the same creator (Billy Markus).

Inspired from the game Animal Crossing. In the Animal Crossing universe, Bells are the primary form of currency. To gather them, you must collect fruits, catch bugs, fish, dig for fossils, etc. and trade those items for Bells. In the crypto world, we just mine for them!

The Bell amount you get from the various items is quite random, so Bells as a cryptocurrency has random rewards in various denominations as well.

Bellscoin is merged-mined with LTC and Dogecoin (Proof of Work), making it a secure network. Ordinals are integrated into Bellscoin along with many OP_Codes that were disabled on BTC are used on BEL.
