The BFK Army was born from resilience and community spirit. BFK (Battle Fort Knox) started in 2021, during a boom in the crypto market, particularly in the Play-to-Earn (P2E) gaming sector. Many projects, including BFK, aimed to revolutionize gaming, and as passionate investors, we believed in that vision. BFK was establishing itself as an exciting new brand on the back of a successful presale and robust marketing. However, when the market crashed, BFK’s value plummeted. The revenue model, reliant on chart activity, faltered, leading to a team reshuffle. The main game developer became CEO and abruptly fired the entire team two months later.

Faced with the imminent loss of their investments, two investors stepped in to assist the inexperienced CEO in continuing game development. A simple 2D side-scroller game was developed and released but needed major funding and further development to be competitive. Despite plans to secure VC funding, the outdated model and redundant game technology deterred investors. Meanwhile, the CEO was draining all finances until resources were depleted. When the game was eventually abandoned, the CEO suggested building a new project from scratch, which faced resistance from investors. Fueled by anger and resentment, the CEO dumped his tokens, shut down all social channels, the website, and all communications in an attempt to kill the project. However, the community refused to let BFK die, giving birth to the BFK Army.

Today, BFK is a community project, run by the people, for the people. It features a renounced contract, CertiK Audit, refreshed brand and logo, new artwork and creative assets, and an army of warriors standing behind it, fighting for its success. We welcome you to the BFK Army, a band of soldiers originally assembled to guard Fort Knox in a whimsical game, but now united to defend the common good and battle against unscrupulous developers who abandon their communities.
