Dipper Network (DIP) describes itself as a decentralized financial network that will use financial protocols and cross-chain technology to build a cross-chain ecosystem. Founded by Huang Zhiyong, its development started in 2019. Huang Zhiyong was also the chief researcher of GXChain. Dipper Network uses the Tendermint consensus algorithm and secure random number scheme to provide high-throughput services. Dipper Network is supported by the Dipper Network Foundation, an independent Singaporean organization that designed and established the Dipper Network and oversees the development of the Dipper Network ecosystem.
