 Bitcoin's price is facing another test near $80,000 as investors weigh renewed institutional demand against uncertainty surrounding US interest rates and the broader cryptocurrency market.
 <a href="https://coincodex.com/crypto/bitcoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">BTC briefly slipped below $80,000</a> on October 29 before attempting to recover, extending a volatile period that has repeatedly interrupted rallies toward $85,000.
 The weakness followed the Federal Reserve's October 28 decision to keep interest rates unchanged at 3.75%-4.00%. Policymakers left the possibility of further tightening open, creating another challenge for risk-sensitive assets.Bitcoin Price Falls Despite Three Days of ETF Inflows
 US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds attracted approximately $137.3 million on October 28, extending their inflow streak to three consecutive trading sessions.
 BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust accounted for roughly $136 million of Wednesday's inflows, according to <a href="https://www.tftc.io/bitcoin-etf-flows" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ETF flow data</a>.
 Combined inflows over October 26-28 reached approximately $423.7 million, reversing some of the heavy selling recorded earlier in the month.&amp;lt;iframe src=”https://widgets.coincodex.com/w/769ab4a0-d9f8-49b8-a363-c7a8a2b6e0ee?site=coinpaper&amp;amp;mode=light” width=”100%” height=”420” frameborder=”0” referrerpolicy=”no-referrer-when-downgrade” style=”border:0;background:transparent;border-radius:0px;”&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/iframe&amp;gt;
 The improvement contrasts with last week's <a href="https://coinpaper.com/37865/bitcoin-price-prediction-btc-falls-below-80-000-ahead-of-fed-meeting" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ETF withdrawals</a>, when funds lost approximately $773.5 million across two sessions.
 Yet stronger ETF demand has not been enough to produce a sustained rally.
 That divergence suggests investors must consider other forces affecting Bitcoin, including derivatives positioning, selling by existing holders and broader market liquidity.
 Earlier <a href="https://coinpaper.com/37200/bitcoin-price-prediction-btc-falls-below-81k-amid-liquidations" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">liquidation activity</a> demonstrated how leveraged positions can accelerate price declines even when longer-term demand remains intact. Can Bitcoin Recover Toward $85,000?
 Bitcoin's immediate recovery prospects depend on whether buyers can reclaim the $81,000–$83,000 region.
 Coinbase Institutional previously identified $80,000–$82,000 as an important support zone, partly because ETF investor cost estimates and technical indicators converged around those levels.
 However, Bitcoin has repeatedly struggled to maintain that range during October, weakening the near-term bullish argument.
 A sustained move above $83,000 could restore momentum toward $85,000–$86,000, an upper trading region previously identified in <a href="https://coinpaper.com/37926/bitcoin-price-prediction-analysts-warn-77-k-support-could-break" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">QCP Capital's outlook</a>.
 That would still fall short of the more optimistic institutional predictions.
 Citigroup's <a href="https://coinpaper.com/37261/bitcoin-price-prediction-citis-113k-target-implies-35-upside-despite-btcs-weak-recovery" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$113,000 Bitcoin target</a>, for example, reflects a much longer investment horizon rather than a near-term expectation.Bitcoin Price Prediction: Is $75,000 the Next Downside Target?
 The bearish scenario becomes more relevant if Bitcoin fails to recover $80,000 and selling pressure intensifies.
 Bitfinex analysts previously identified the $77,000 region as an important technical support area. Losing that zone could expose $75,000 and potentially the <a href="https://coinpaper.com/37813/bitcoin-price-prediction-coinbase-warns-btc-could-fall-toward-73-000-if-key-support-breaks" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$73,000 area</a> highlighted in Coinbase-related analysis.
 Those are conditional scenarios, not guaranteed price destinations.
 Macroeconomic conditions remain another risk. Elevated <a href="https://coinpaper.com/37056/treasury-yields-hit-535-in-biggest-bond-selloff-since-2002" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Treasury yields</a> can make risk assets less attractive, particularly when investors expect interest rates to stay higher for longer.
