Solana-based memecoin launch platform Pump.fun is drawing fresh attention after another substantial SOL transfer to cryptocurrency exchange Kraken.
According to blockchain intelligence data attributed to Arkham, Pump.fun deposited an additional 129,798 SOL, worth approximately $14.07 million, into Kraken.
The latest movement comes amid reports that the platform’s cumulative SOL sales have reached 5.48 million tokens, valued at roughly $875.5 million.
The figures highlight the significant amount of Solana associated with the platform’s reported selling activity.
The latest deposit represents another sizable transfer to a centralized exchange, where cryptocurrency can be traded or converted into other assets.
However, an exchange deposit should not automatically be treated as a completed sale.
The reported cumulative Pumpfun SOL sales figure and the newly identified Kraken transfer should therefore be considered separately unless the latest transaction is confirmed as part of the sales total.
<h2 id="why-pump-fun-is-moving-sol-to-kraken">Why Pump.fun Is Moving SOL to Kraken</h2>
Pump.fun operates within the Solana ecosystem, where it has become a widely recognized platform for launching memecoins.
Its activity has attracted considerable attention from cryptocurrency traders and blockchain analysts.
Large transfers associated with the platform can influence market sentiment because investors often monitor exchange deposits for signs of potential selling.
When substantial amounts of SOL move to centralized trading platforms, traders may interpret those transactions as preparation for liquidation.
However, exchange transfers can also occur for liquidity management, treasury operations or other purposes.
The latest 129,798 SOL deposit to Kraken does not independently establish whether the tokens have already been sold.
Arkham’s reported data provides visibility into wallet movements and historical activity, but onchain transfers alone do not reveal every subsequent transaction occurring inside a centralized exchange.
The available information also does not specify the exact timing or execution prices of the reported cumulative sales.

<h2 id="could-pumpfun-sol-sales-pressure-solana-s-price">Could Pumpfun SOL Sales Pressure Solana’s Price?</h2>
The scale of reported Pumpfun SOL sales may raise concerns among investors watching Solana’s short-term market performance.
Large token sales can increase available supply in the market, particularly if transactions occur during periods of weak demand.
However, the impact depends on factors such as trading liquidity, execution timing and buyers’ willingness to absorb the supply.
The cumulative $875.5 million figure represents reported historical sales rather than a single new transaction.
Likewise, the latest $14.07 million Kraken deposit should not be interpreted as an immediate $14.07 million sell order without additional confirmation.
Traders may monitor further wallet movements, exchange inflows and SOL spot market activity to assess whether selling pressure is increasing.
For now, Pump.fun’s latest Kraken transfer adds to scrutiny of its SOL holdings and reported sales, but the transaction itself does not prove that additional tokens have been sold.
