The latest Zebec Network news covers the ZBCN buyback for the third quarter of 2026. In an official X post, the team said the program continued through Q3. Zebec repurchased 40,536,539 ZBCN, valued at about $100,000.

That works out to roughly $0.0025 per token on average. The dollar value is approximate, so the per-token figure is only an estimate.
This Zebec Network Update is brief. The post gives no purchase dates, <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/tag/exchanges" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">exchanges or wallet</a> breakdown. The quarterly total is the only confirmed number so far.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-where-did-the-money-for-the-zbcn-buyback-come-from-span-span">Where Did the Money for the ZBCN Buyback Come From?</h2>
Zebec says the program is paid for by revenue. The post names Zebec Cards, plus payroll across Zebec Enterprise and the SuperApp, as the sources.
The project's<a href="https://zebec.io/blog/inside-the-zbcn-buyback-program" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">buyback program overview</a> adds more detail. It says operating revenue from payroll, cards and stablecoin payments funds recurring market purchases, rather than treasury allocations.&nbsp;
Zebec also states it intends to keep a regular buyback cadence through 2026. That is a stated plan, not a guarantee.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-are-the-repurchased-zbcn-tokens-burned-or-just-held-span-span">Are the Repurchased ZBCN Tokens Burned or Just Held?</h2>
Zebec said the repurchased tokens will not re-enter circulation. That is a project claim. It does not mean the tokens were burned.
According to the blog, the burn mechanism has been paused since the Zebec DAO approved ZIP-4 in early 2024. Bought tokens sit in a designated Buyback Treasury Wallet and with Uphold Institutional.

<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-what-does-zebec-network-news-today-mean-for-the-zbcn-price-span-span">What Does Zebec Network News Today Mean for the ZBCN Price?</h2>
The X post page showed ZBCN near $0.00226, down 4.12% at the time of capture. That is market data and can change quickly.
At that price, 40.5 million tokens would be worth about $92,000. In the crypto latest news cycle, a $100,000 quarterly repurchase is modest, and the post does not say what share of supply it covers.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-expert-take-what-could-change-the-zebec-buyback-story-span-span">Expert Take: What Could Change the Zebec Buyback Story?</h2>
The data suggests the program is steady rather than large. Its strength is the stated link to product revenue from cards and payroll. The main uncertainty remains how much revenue sits behind each quarterly purchase.
Governance is the next signal. The blog says the Zebec DAO expects to evaluate by the end of 2026 whether to propose bringing back a burn mechanism. Votes on proposals run through the<a href="https://dao.zebec.io/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Zebec DAO governance portal</a>.
Future crypto news updates from Zebec could add purchase dates, average prices or supply impact. Without those, <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-news-english" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">cryptocurrency news</a> coverage of the buyback rests on one quarterly figure.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-conclusion-span-span">Conclusion</h2>
Zebec Network news from this update is simple. The project bought 40,536,539 ZBCN in Q3 2026, worth about $100,000, using revenue from cards and payroll. The tokens stay out of circulation, but the burn remains paused.
For Zebec Network <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-news-today-october-22-2026-bitcoin-ethereum-price-gains" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">crypto news</a>, the next detail is the DAO review due by the end of 2026. As Zebec Network latest news goes, it is a modest update, yet it names both its total and its funding sources.
