Tonkeeper rebrands to Keeper and adds Bitcoin, Ethereum and four more chains, turning the TON-native wallet into a seven-network product that its parent company says now serves more than 77 million registered users. The change arrives with a mobile-first rollout and a fee-abstraction feature that, for now, covers only two of the seven listed networks.

The wallet's official homepage now reads that Tonkeeper is now Keeper, describing it as the same wallet with more chains, and the old tonkeeper.com address redirects to the new domain. The message positions the rebrand as a continuation rather than a reset, with existing functionality carried over under the shorter name.
Independent reporting from Unchained dates the announcement to September 15, 2026 and describes the rebrand as unveiled on Tuesday. The outlet also reports that the company claims more than 77 million registered users, a figure attributed to the company rather than independently audited, and one that counts registrations rather than active users.
From Tonkeeper to Keeper

The name change drops "Ton" from the front of the brand, reflecting a wallet that no longer centers exclusively on The Open Network. According to Unchained, The Open Platform assumed day-to-day control of the product last month while the co-founders retained equity, though the underlying ownership announcement was not independently obtained and should not be read as a full acquisition.
Keeper Adds Bitcoin, Ethereum and Four More Chains

Keeper now lists seven supported networks: TON, TRON, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Arbitrum, Base and BNB Chain. That represents six chains added alongside TON, not six networks in total.

Bitcoin and Ethereum Join the Expansion

Bitcoin and Ethereum are the two headline additions, extending a TON-first wallet into the two largest chains by market capitalization. Unchained identifies the full set of six additions alongside TON as Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum and Base, matching the network list on the official site.

The expansion mirrors a broader push by wallet operators to broaden asset coverage; Bitget Wallet, for example, recently added 1,700 tokenized stocks as competitors race to widen what a single self-custodial app can hold. Keeper describes itself as self-custodial, with private keys staying on the user's device, though that is a product statement rather than an independently performed security audit.

What the Keeper Expansion Means for Users

The seven-network list does not mean uniform availability everywhere. The official rollout notice states that multichain is available on mobile first, with other platforms described as coming soon, so desktop, web and browser-extension parity is not established by the announcement.

Battery, the wallet's fee-abstraction feature, is currently available only on TON and TRON, with more networks described as coming soon. The feature lets users send USDT and other assets without holding TRX or TON for gas, and can be topped up with crypto or a card; it abstracts network fees rather than making transactions free.

Unchained reports a roadmap that includes Battery on every supported network, native DeFi, cross-chain swaps, a built-in browser and perpetual futures within the next year, though feature-by-feature release timing remains unresolved and should not be read as already live. Readers should verify launch timing, supported platforms and any required steps before acting on them.

The rebrand lands against a soft backdrop for TON itself, which traded at $1.32 with a roughly 2.5% decline over 24 hours and a market capitalization near $3.7 billion at the time of research; that move should not be attributed to the announcement. Broader sentiment leaned optimistic, with the crypto Fear & Greed Index at 69, in "Greed" territory, even as U.S. crypto policy stalled after the Clarity Act failed a Senate vote, leaving self-custody wallets like Keeper to compete on features rather than regulatory clarity.
