The cryptocurrency market entered a broad correction on Aug. 26, with Bitcoin falling below $79,000 while Stacks (STX) emerged as the strongest performer among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, according to CoinMarketCap. (IT Times) According to CoinMarketCap at 10:30 a.m. KST on Aug. 26, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 1.08% from the previous day to $78,873.46, while Ethereum (ETH) declined 1.57% to $2,457.48.XRP dropped 4.27% to $1.44, while Solana (SOL) fell 4.59% to $97.03. Dogecoin (DOGE) declined 5.17% to $0.08653, and Tron (TRX) slipped 2.78% to $0.3362.Avalanche (AVAX) fell 3.25% to $7.37. Worldcoin (WLD) declined 4.75% to $0.3899, while World Liberty Financial (WLFI) was one of the few major gainers, rising 1.79% to $0.05894.Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Stacks (STX) recorded the biggest 24-hour gain, soaring 15.92%.
