In <a href="https://x.com/vincent_vancode/status/1965549184905547868" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">a recent post</a>, blockchain analyst Vincent Van Code argued that the race for blockchain dominance will not be decided by “the best token,” but by the platforms that combine compliance, trust, and proven infrastructure.
According to him, the <a href="https://36crypto.com/xrp-ledgers-game-changing-update-major-credentials-amendment-set-to-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP Ledger</a> (XRPL) stands out as the strongest contender in the field of real-world asset (RWA) tokenization.

Van Code emphasized that he has reviewed a wide range of blockchain networks and concluded that XRPL is best equipped to handle tokenization, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and market-making functions at scale.
The network, he noted, is already supported by over $300 billion in effective value, underscoring its institutional appeal and capacity to underpin the tokenization of real-world assets ranging from securities to commodities.

It’s not “the best token will win”.
It is “the best, most compliant and trusted blockchain will win”.
I’ve evaluated a majority of blockchains and XRP Ledger is hands down winner for RWA tokenization. DEX, market making, etc. and it’s now supported by over $300BN in effective…

While highlighting XRPL’s advantages, Van Code also acknowledged that no single blockchain can dominate all use cases. He pointed out that:
<a href="https://36crypto.com/grayscales-chainlink-etf-could-revolutionize-crypto-investing-heres-how/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Chainlink is unmatched</a> in delivering pricing oracles, a critical component for blockchain interoperability and DeFi applications. Also, he pointed out that Bitcoin (BTC) remains the leading store of value asset.
Moreover, he added that Ethereum (ETH) will continue to dominate in the realm of high-value smart contracts, maintaining its role as the base for decentralized applications.
“I’m not saying every use case, definitely pricing Oracle Chainlink wins hands down, store of value BTC, and ETH high-value smart contracts,” he wrote.

The comments come as <a href="https://36crypto.com/european-commission-eyes-tokenization-of-financial-instruments/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">RWA tokenization</a> gains traction globally, with banks, asset managers, and fintech firms exploring ways to bring trillions of dollars in traditional financial assets on-chain. Analysts argue that compliance, scalability, and security will be the deciding factors in which platforms emerge as winners in this space.
By positioning itself as a regulation-friendly, institution-ready ledger, XRP Ledger appears set to play a central role in this rapidly developing sector.
