April 2024: Chart annotations

📈 Chart annotations

🔹 We released v1 of our chart annotations, supporting roughly 20 coins

🔹 Annotations help explain what's happened in the past, and can be useful to understand price movements

🔹 We plan to use a variety of methods to improve annotations over time, including AI, algorithmic models, and of course human curation

🖼️ Expanded NFT Data Coverage

🔹 In April we added support for 6 new chains to our NFT data: Fantom, Mantle, Arbitrum, Blast, Avalanche, and Cronos

🔹 We are currently working on several additional EVM-compatible chains as well as Bitcoin and Solana

🔹 We improved the watchlist on web by giving you quick visibility and access by simply hovering over the "watchlist" button in the top bar

📢 Community Creator Campaign

🔹 April saw the launch of our first "Community Creator Campaign", a program aimed at engaging KOLs on the CMC Community platform

🔹 We saw over 21k participants and had several hundred winners of our traffic packages and unique badges

🔹 The second iteration of the Campaign will run in early May

🔹 We improved the user experience for bullish and bearish sentiment on Community, turning them into emoji reactions

🔹 This makes it much easier for others to engage with your reaction, helping others who feel similarly (or not) to let the world know

🔹 We added a leaderboard showing Community votes for DEX token pages

🔹 Every week, our listing team verifies lots of new coins to check things like socials, official links, and supply data; the community vote leaderboard will be one of the sources used by the listing team to prioritize these verifications

🚀 Listing and Launchpool notifications

🔹 On the CMC mobile app we added the ability for you to get notifications when there are new listings and launchpads/launchpools on Binance

🔹 We are actively working on adding more partners to this feature, including OKX and Coinbase

🔹 We also created two new CMC Community bots that will deliver these updates straight to your Community feed: CMCNewListingBot and CMCNewLaunchPadBot
