Threshold

CRYPTO

XRP has pulled back sharply from its 2026 highs, and the crypto analysis community is paying close attention to one specific price.
Analyst EGRAG CRYPTO (@egragcrypto) has <a href="https://x.com/egragcrypto/status/2114013911510913393" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">identified</a> $1.24 as the level that will likely determine XRP’s next significant move.
The chart, drawn on the 4-hour timeframe, shows XRP trading at $1.259 at the time of the analysis, sitting just above that threshold.

<h2 id="strong-details-from-the-chart-strong">Details From the Chart</h2>
The chart lays out two distinct trading ranges. Range 1 sits between roughly $1.35 and $1.45. Range 2 occupies the lower zone, between approximately $1.10 and $1.25.
A converging pattern of white diagonal lines forms a large diamond structure with two symmetrical triangles back to back. XRP is currently <a href="https://timestabloid.com/xrp-symmetrical-triangle-breakdown-in-motion-analyst-reveals-what-is-coming/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">compressing within the symmetrical triangle</a> on the right, nearing the apex.
XRP completed a clear A-B-C corrective sequence. The B wave reached near $1.70 after <a href="https://timestabloid.com/xrp-rallied-50-in-65-hours-finance-expert-explains-what-comes-next/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">the breakout in August</a>. This was followed by a sharp decline into the C wave near $1.15 in September. The asset has since recovered to the $1.24 to $1.26 area.
<h2 id="strong-the-1-24-threshold-strong">The $1.24 Threshold</h2>
EGRAG CRYPTO states that $1.24 is the line in the sand. A confirmed 4-hour close below that level, followed by a failed reclaim, would shift former support into resistance. That scenario opens the path toward $1.20, then $1.15, and potentially $1.11. These levels align directly with Range 2 on the chart.
The bullish scenario requires XRP to hold $1.24. A successful defense of that level, followed by a reclaim of $1.29, puts $1.40 to $1.43 back in play. That zone represents the lower boundary of Range 1 and has served as a significant structural area throughout 2026.
<h2 id="strong-risk-on-both-sides-strong">Risk on Both Sides</h2>
EGRAG CRYPTO cautions traders on both sides of this setup. The analyst warns that short-term traders could feel more pain before the reversal. At the same time, the post flags the danger of shorting near a potential bottom.
The analyst’s stated position leans bullish. He favors buying at support <a href="https://timestabloid.com/breakout-confirmed-xrp-clears-resistance-expert-sets-next-target/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">once confirmation arrives</a>, noting that potential upside could outweigh remaining downside provided risk is controlled.
<h2 id="strong-what-comes-next-strong">What Comes Next?</h2>
The chart projects the resolution of this structure into late 2026 and early 2027. The converging lines suggest <a href="https://timestabloid.com/egrag-crypto-says-the-xrp-retest-is-here-awaits-crucial-decision/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">a breakout decision is approaching</a>. Price action around $1.24 in the near term will carry significant weight for directional bias. Confirmation is more important than anticipation at this stage.
