<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://gomining.com">GoMining</a> is expanding the reach of its Bitcoin payment infrastructure with the launch of a free <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://woocommerce.com/">WooCommerce</a> plugin for <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://gobtcpay.com">GoBTC Pay</a>, enabling online retailers to accept on-chain BTC payments without developing their own cryptocurrency checkout systems.
Released on October 22, the plugin is officially listed in the WordPress Plugin Directory and can be installed directly through the WordPress dashboard, bringing GoBTC Pay's payment capabilities to merchants operating WooCommerce stores.
The integration represents an expansion of GoBTC Pay's merchant-facing infrastructure, moving beyond standalone payment tools toward direct compatibility with established e-commerce platforms.
Rather than requiring merchants to build custom connections to Bitcoin payment services, the plugin introduces BTC as an additional payment option within the existing WooCommerce checkout experience.
Customers can complete purchases using Bitcoin, with payments processed on-chain through GoBTC Pay. The company plans to add instant payment confirmation for GoMining Wallet users in November 2026.
The upcoming functionality could be particularly relevant for online merchants, where delays in confirming payments can create friction during checkout and order processing.
Unlike payment solutions that require businesses to develop specialised integrations, the new plugin is designed to simplify the technical process of introducing Bitcoin payments.
"WordPress is where a huge part of online retail lives, so it was a natural place for GoBTC Pay to go next," said Roman Yermoshyn, General Manager of GoBTC Pay. "With the official plugin, any WooCommerce merchant can start accepting Bitcoin in minutes, right from the WordPress dashboard they already use."
The announcement comes as cryptocurrency payment providers continue working to make blockchain-based transactions easier to integrate into traditional commerce.
For GoMining, which operates across Bitcoin mining and payment infrastructure, expanding GoBTC Pay's compatibility with widely used retail software is part of its broader push into practical Bitcoin applications.
WooCommerce offers an established distribution channel for the service, allowing businesses already using WordPress to add Bitcoin payments without changing their e-commerce platform.
The plugin is currently available for free, while the planned November update will introduce instant confirmation capabilities for eligible GoMining Wallet transactions.
With the new integration, GoBTC Pay is positioning itself as an accessible payment option for online businesses looking to support Bitcoin alongside their existing checkout methods.
