XRP’s price recorded a notable breakout from its well-established trading range, marking the eighth time this level has been tested, according to Turkish crypto analyst Celal Kucucker. The recent movement places renewed attention on the $1.29 to $1.55 corridor, a zone that XRP bulls are targeting on both the 4-hour and daily timeframes.

Despite the positive price action, significant investors commonly referred to as crypto whales, have refrained from increasing their XRP holdings during this surge. Kucucker stated that XRP once again bounced from the $1.27 support this week, reflecting a pattern seen in past trading sessions.

This pattern aligns with an earlier forecast issued by Bitrue’s Research Institute, which identified the $1.28 to $1.32 zone as a major demand area capable of triggering a price rebound following XRP’s pullback since October began.

SoSoValue, a digital asset analytics platform, reported a 5.5% gain for XRP in the past 24 hours. The token currently trades near $1.377, facing limited resistance until a stronger confluence zone at $1.67 to $1.71, as indicated by daily candlestick patterns. Analysts also point to the SuperTrend price, which targets $2.30 as the next significant bullish threshold for XRP.

Short-term dynamics and whale activity

Short-term charts identify the $1.48 to $1.55 region as an important resistance range that may determine XRP’s monthly outlook. Despite an uptick in price following Wednesday’s market recovery, crypto whales have not taken advantage of what some may consider discount buying opportunities, as highlighted by flat readings in the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) indicator on lower timeframes.

The lack of substantial whale accumulation suggests a cautious approach among large holders even as XRP’s price tests higher levels amid broader market volatility.

XRP ledger adoption in AI-powered payments

XRP’s distributed ledger technology secured a new use case in the artificial intelligence-driven payment sector this week. Yellow, an AI-focused settlement protocol specializing in agentic commerce, introduced a zero-gas execution layer for AI agents, enabling transactions settled in XRP. The integration aims to facilitate rapid and efficient payments within the expanding agentic economy.

Its recent integration with XRP aims to enable low-fee and fast settlements for AI-driven transactions in financial and supply chain applications.

This development establishes a new framework for open, non-custodial, cross-chain commerce involving AI-powered agents. Ripple President Monica Long has projected a significant increase in agentic payments on the XRP ledger, expecting the number of transactions could reach 100 million annually. Long also estimated the value of real-world assets (RWAs) tied to the agentic economy could multiply by a factor of five to hit $30 billion.

Monica Long emphasized that the combination of XRP settlement and AI-driven commerce has the potential to create a scalable, cross-chain ecosystem for non-custodial transactions, potentially driving substantial growth in network activity and real-world asset value.
