Venus

Predict.fun now generates yield on your locked collateral through a Venus Protocol integration announced in early January 2026. Instead of letting your USDT sit dormant while waiting for a prediction to resolve, the platform automatically deposits it into Venus money markets to earn variable APY. Over 60% of Predict.fun's total value locked, which recently reached over $20 million, is already deployed into these yield-bearing positions.
This matters because prediction markets have always had a capital efficiency problem. You place a bet on whether Bitcoin hits a price target next month, and your funds just sit there. Traditional platforms lock up hundreds of millions in idle capital. Some estimates peg the global total at over $680 million. That money could be earning yield elsewhere, which creates an opportunity cost that discourages long-term participation and larger position sizes.

When you buy Yes or No shares on a Predict.fun market, your USDT collateral gets routed into Venus Protocol's money market. Venus is one of BNB Chain's largest decentralized lending platforms with over $300 million in USDT liquidity. Borrowers on Venus pay interest, and that interest flows back to lenders, including Predict.fun users.
Your prediction position stays fully active. If you bought Yes shares and the outcome resolves in your favor, you redeem at $1 per share. The difference is that your underlying capital wasn't sitting idle the whole time. It was working in Venus and accumulating yield based on current market rates.
Early adoption numbers suggest strong demand. Within days of the partnership going live, millions in capital had been deployed productively. The platform has attracted attention from ecosystem leaders, with Changpeng Zhao publicly calling the approach a significant development for BNB Chain's DeFi landscape.

Traditional platforms force a tradeoff. Either you commit capital to a prediction and accept that it's locked, or you keep funds liquid for other DeFi opportunities. Predict.fun removes that tension. You get exposure to high-conviction prediction trades while your collateral earns lending yield in the background.
This creates better incentives across the board. Users are more willing to hold positions longer because the opportunity cost drops. Larger position sizes become more attractive. Platform liquidity improves as a result. The founder, who has prior involvement with major BNB Chain projects including PancakeSwap, has outlined plans to expand yield options to additional market types and explore features like synthetic leverage and advanced liquidity strategies.
For anyone who's left money sitting in prediction markets waiting for quarterly earnings, election outcomes, or crypto price milestones, the value proposition is straightforward. Your stake can now generate returns while you wait for the result.
