Ripple’s annual Swell conference delivered a series of major announcements that have strengthened market confidence in the company and XRP. Dom Kwok, co-founder of EasyA, summarized the highlights in a post that drew notable attention from the XRP army.
His outline captured a moment of acceleration for Ripple as it deepens partnerships, expands institutional services, and scales its stablecoin offering. A major news was Ripple’s $500 million strategic investment round led by Fortress Investment Group, Citadel Securities, Pantera Capital, Galaxy Digital, and others.
The participation of such large financial institutions shows rising trust in Ripple’s business model and future role in digital finance. The funding gives Ripple a stronger balance sheet and positions it to grow its infrastructure and services across payments, custody, and asset management.

A Major Partnership Positions XRP for Mainstream Payments

Kwok also highlighted Ripple’s new partnership with Mastercard, one of the most recognizable names in global payments. The two companies will work with WebBank to use Ripple’s stablecoin, RLUSD, to facilitate settlement of fiat card payments on the XRP Ledger.
The use of RLUSD for real-world payment shows tangible progress toward integrating blockchain with traditional financial networks. It will also increase demand for XRP as a bridge asset on the ledger, potentially boosting its price.
This partnership moves Ripple closer to a position where its XRP-powered technology could sit inside existing payment systems rather than outside them. For XRP holders, this integration expands the network’s utility and may strengthen long-term liquidity demand.

Ripple Prime Brings Institutional Depth

Another key development from the event was the launch of Ripple Prime, a digital asset prime brokerage for U.S. institutional clients. The platform enables over-the-counter spot transactions across major assets, including XRP and RLUSD.
By giving clients secure access to deep liquidity, Ripple is positioning itself alongside other major players offering prime brokerage services in digital assets. The move shows that Ripple intends to serve serious institutional traders, and adds to the professional infrastructure surrounding XRP.

Strengthened Custody and Growing Stablecoin Adoption

Ripple’s acquisition of Palisade, a digital asset wallet and custody company, further builds the company’s ability to serve fintechs and crypto firms that need compliant and reliable custody solutions. This complements its growing product range and could attract more partners that require secure handling of digital assets.
Finally, Ripple’s stablecoin RLUSD has surpassed $1 billion in market capitalization, signaling rapid adoption since its launch. With institutional capital, major partnerships, and expanding infrastructure, the momentum behind Ripple’s ecosystem gives XRP renewed strength and relevance in the evolving crypto market.
