VivoPower has highlighted a striking detail about XRP’s presence in Asia, revealing that “South Korea holds $30 billion of XRP circulating supply, representing 20% of the total.”
The figure <a href="https://x.com/Vivo_Power/status/1972661658272125080" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">shows</a> the nation’s enormous stake in the digital asset ecosystem, marking South Korea as one of the most influential markets for XRP globally.
The scale of this ownership helps explain why XRP consistently <a href="https://timestabloid.com/xrp-dominates-south-koreas-biggest-exchange/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">dominates trading activity across the country’s top exchanges</a> and continues to gain traction among both retail and institutional participants.
<h2 id="strong-vivopower-s-expansion-and-local-engagement-strong">VivoPower’s Expansion and Local Engagement</h2>
The company’s statement followed a series of posts announcing its expansion into South Korea. VivoPower said it had established a new office and appointed a local representative director, describing the move as a “strategic” step that affirms its commitment to the South Korean market.
VivoPower has consistently <a href="https://timestabloid.com/vivopower-ceo-defi-for-xrp-is-going-to-be-explosive/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">shown support for XRP</a>. It also noted that it presented at XRP Seoul and attended Korea Blockchain Week, signaling an active presence in the region’s growing blockchain and fintech scene.
VivoPower’s decision to highlight South Korea’s XRP holdings shortly after those announcements adds significance to its engagement. The company’s participation in XRP-dedicated events and blockchain innovation mirrors how deeply integrated the asset has become in the local digital economy.
<h2 id="strong-xrp-s-strength-on-south-korean-exchanges-strong">XRP’s Strength on South Korean Exchanges</h2>
South Korea’s <a href="https://timestabloid.com/south-korea-is-flipping-the-switch-on-xrp-heres-what-happened/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">strong association with XRP</a> is not new. On Upbit, the nation’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, the digital asset has repeatedly set records as the most traded asset, often surpassing Bitcoin and Ethereum in daily trading volume.
This consistent performance demonstrates the asset’s deep liquidity and the sustained interest of South Korean traders, who have long viewed XRP as one of the most accessible and utility-driven cryptocurrencies.

The country’s tech-savvy investor base and well-established digital payments culture have also contributed to its rapid adoption. Many participants see value in XRP’s transaction speed and cost efficiency, particularly for remittance and cross-border payment use cases, both sectors where South Korean fintech companies continue to innovate aggressively.
<h2 id="strong-outlook-for-xrp-strong">Outlook for XRP</h2>
South Korea’s position as a dominant XRP market strengthens the asset’s global profile. With $30 billion in circulating supply concentrated in South Korea, XRP’s ecosystem benefits from both liquidity depth and market stability.
High liquidity and a committed investor base create favorable conditions for future expansion, especially as blockchain-based financial services continue to <a href="https://timestabloid.com/xrp-is-stealing-the-spotlight-in-asia/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">gain traction across Asia</a>.
