The past week has been anything but quiet for crypto watchers. The Ethereum (ETH) price spike above $4,400 has turned heads as institutions double down with ETF inflows, while the latest Hyperliquid (HYPE) whale activity shows early holders locking in profits after massive gains. Both tokens highlight how quickly fortunes shift in this market. But which emerging crypto coins have the mix of delivery, visibility, and momentum to carry this rally forward?
That’s where BlockDAG (BDAG) comes in. With a live testnet, a record-breaking $420M+ presale, and branding tied directly to the BWT Alpine F1® team deal, its GENESIS Day event is helping BlockDAG move beyond presale hype into a global stage where timing and scarcity matter most.

BlockDAG’s BWT Alpine Formula 1® Team Collab & GENESIS DAY Lead

BlockDAG’s presale has been fueled by a partnership that few emerging crypto coins could dream of. A tie-in with the BWT Alpine F1® team has put GENESIS Day in front of a global audience that stretches far beyond crypto circles. From the Singapore activation to future race weekends, the project is building recognition through the same channels that carry Formula One to millions of viewers.
At the heart of GENESIS Day is exclusivity. The first 5,000 holders were given access to the most rewarding entry point, and only a fraction of spots remain. Participants can secure a position with just 10% upfront, but the limited availability adds pressure. Once the TGE code is gone, the opportunity to claim at $0.0012 will no longer exist.
The numbers themselves highlight why interest has accelerated. BlockDAG has already raised over $420 million, making it one of the most successful presales of 2025. Unlike projects that delay delivery, BlockDAG has a functioning testnet live, reinforcing confidence that development is running alongside fundraising.

For those looking at emerging crypto coins, GENESIS Day presents a case where timing is critical. The partnership with the BWT Alpine Formula 1® team provides a push that most networks cannot replicate, and once BlockDAG transitions from presale to listing, the low entry price will be a memory.

Ethereum (ETH) Price Spike Gains Strength

The Ethereum (ETH) price spike above $4,400 has been supported by both technical and institutional factors. Citigroup recently lifted its year-end target to $4,500, citing ETF inflows and treasury demand. Daily transaction activity remains strong, and exchange reserves are at multi-year lows, showing that holders are moving coins away from exchanges rather than preparing to sell. At the same time, indicators like the Chaikin Money Flow point to capital still entering the network, even as some long-term holders have started to take profits.

From a market perspective, $4,500 is the resistance level traders are watching. A successful breakout could open paths toward $4,775 and even a retest of the $4,956 all-time high. If the move fails, support rests around $4,222 and $4,074. The Ethereum (ETH) price spike has also benefited from broader optimism in crypto after U.S. economic data boosted expectations of rate cuts, adding to the momentum building into October.

Hyperliquid (HYPE) Whale Activity Shifts Market Focus

Recent Hyperliquid (HYPE) whale activity has highlighted how quickly large holders can change the market picture. One early whale sold nearly 4.99 million HYPE at around $45.82, locking in over $148 million in profits while holding only a small balance afterward. Other whales followed with significant sales, including multi-million-dollar transfers into rival projects like Aster. These moves sparked concern about near-term price stability, even though HYPE continues to trade above the $47 level and analysts suggest a potential move toward the $55–$60 range if momentum holds.

The bigger issue for traders is the upcoming unlock schedule. Starting in late November, 237.8 million tokens will vest over two years, which could create consistent supply pressure unless offset by burns or buybacks. At the same time, some reports suggest whales are still maintaining exposure, hinting at confidence in long-term growth. Overall, the latest Hyperliquid (HYPE) whale activity shows both profit-taking and cautious positioning ahead of key unlocks.

Final Takeaway

The recent Ethereum (ETH) price spike has shown how institutional demand and strong technical levels can push momentum higher, while the latest Hyperliquid (HYPE) whale activity underlined how quickly large holders can reshape sentiment. Both cases highlight the volatility and opportunity that continue to define this space.
But when looking at emerging crypto coins, BlockDAG is positioned differently. Its presale has already raised over $420 million at $0.0012 per coin, backed by the added visibility of its exclusive partnership with the BWT Alpine F1® Team. That connection turns GENESIS into more than just another entry point; it ties the project to global recognition and a sense of urgency. With limited spots remaining, BlockDAG stands as a project where scarcity and brand power combine.
