<p>The top crypto prices today registered declines, however, Bitcoin (BTC) price managed to sustain above the $65,000 mark. Whilst, the Ethereum (ETH) price extended lower than the $3,000 level. In addition, other top altcoins, such as Solana (SOL) and XRP also witnessed a modest drop while Cardano (ADA) gained.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bitcoin price</a> dipped 0.52<em>%,</em> reaching $65,499.97 at the time of writing on Friday, May 17. On the other hand, it’s trading volume plunged 28.74% to $29.90 billion in the last 24 hours. Whilst, the crypto’s market capitalization stood at $1.29 trillion.</p> 
<h3 id="2-ethereum-price">2. Ethereum Price</h3> 
<p>The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/ethereum/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ethereum price</a> lost 1.92% to $2,949.67 at press time with a market valuation of $354.32 billion. Whilst, ETH saw its trading volume plummeted 21.86%, reaching $12.15 billion.</p> 
<h3 id="3-solana-price">3. Solana Price</h3> 
<p>The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/solana/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Solana price</a> sustained above the $160 level and dipped slightly today. The Solana price was down 0.25%<strong>,</strong> settling at $162.13. In addition, SOL witnessed a 26.47% drop in trade volume to $3.10 billion in the last 24 hours.</p> 
<h3 id="4-xrp-price">4. XRP Price</h3> 
<p>Whilst, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/xrp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">XRP price</a> slumped below the $0.52 mark again. The XRP price recorded a dip of 0.23%, reaching $0.5175. On the other hand, XRP’s trading volume dropped by 8.10% to $1.09 billion.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/cardano/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cardano crypto price</a> rallied 1.11% to $0.4645 today. Whilst, ADA recorded a plunge of 9.75% in its 24-hour trading volume, settling at $361.14 million.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/dogecoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dogecoin price</a> slumped 4.09% to $0.15 while its rival, <a href="https://coingape.com/price/shiba-inu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shiba Inu price</a> tumbled 2.94% and traded at $0.00002436.</p>

 <li><b>Hedera (HBAR): </b>The HBAR price rose 3.47% to $0.1136.</li>

 <li><strong>Wormhole (W):</strong> The W crypto price slumped 5.25% to $0.5353.</li> 
 <li><strong>Ethena (ENA): </strong>The Ethena price dipped 4.93% to $0.6919.</li>

<p>Polygon (MATIC), Sui (SUI), and Fantom (FTM) also gained significantly today. However, the broader market trend remained bearish.</p>
