BSPLT

Beamsplittr is a decentralized application platform designed to make APIs affordable for developers. The network runs on a hybrid L2 consensus mechanism, which aims to make APIs cheaper and available on the network through our client nodes.

BSPLT is the native utility token that is used for:

• Fees for processing API requests
• Running nodes on the network that provide API data attestations via staking BSPLT tokens.
• Used for governance votes to determine how network resources are allocated.

BSPLT tools include:

• Nodes which act as gateways between the blockchain and public REST and SOAP APIs.
• Client nodes which connect to the Beamsplittr network and make on chain API data available through a traditional RESTful endpoint.
