Side Protocol is built for the future of interchain interoperability, powered by cross chain communicating protocols. The first implementation of Side Protocol will be deployed on top of IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) protocol, allowing users to securely swap assets across separate blockchains without custody of native assets on a bridge to mint synthetic assets on the other chain. Side Hub, the sovereign blockchain, is a highly secure and scalable blockchain that is built using Cosmos SDK, Tendermint Consensus, and CosmWasm. On top of Side Hub's infrastructure, developers and contributors can create DeFi applications, such as CLOB-based DEXes, cross-chain atomic swaps, on-chain OTC platform, on-chain private transactions, single-sided liquidity swaps, on-chain perps, and more.
