Surprisingly, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, <a href="https://upbit.com" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Upbit</a>, and Binance have detected unusual high trading volume in several altcoins.&nbsp;
These altcoins showing this unusual activity include Aptos (APT), Basic Attention Token (BAT), Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Polkadot (DOT), and Tezos (XTZ).
The 4-hour chart for Aptos (APT) showed a 129.31% increase in trading volume on Upbit, with the last recorded volume at $101K, significantly above the 50 average 4-hour volume of $44K.&nbsp;
On Binance, the transaction volume increased by 41.37% and the last recorded volume was 628 thousand dollars.
Basic Attention Token (BAT) saw a massive 609.29% increase in trading volume on the 1-hour chart on Upbit, with the last recorded volume being $440K. On Binance, transaction volume increased by 28.63%.
Bitcoin Gold (BTG) and Polkadot (DOT) also experienced unusual trading volume increases on the 1-hour chart on Upbit.&nbsp;
BTG showed an increase of 245.32%, while DOT recorded an increase of 269.99%. However, on Binance, BTG saw a 28.60% drop in trading volume.
Finally, Tezos (XTZ) saw a 95.35% increase in trading volume on the 4-hour chart on Upbit. However, trading volume on Binance decreased by 19.43%.
