Traders are waiting for the US midterm election 2026 results. Meanwhile, analyst Ali Charts has picked three coins where a rally may be taking shape.
The next altcoin move still needs buyers to prove it. Ethereum, Solana, and Cardano all dropped hard in recent weeks.
Now each one shows a TD Sequential buy signal on the 3-day chart. <a href="https://x.com/alicharts/status/2117754973228331471" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ali Charts shared the levels</a> he is watching.<img alt="TD Sequential buy signal on the 3-day chart." src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/a7RRKjpSaT2xY60NcX8IjT8HTbikpy5tCpYF7shy.jpg" width="300" height="125" title="TD Sequential buy signal on the 3-day chart.">
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-us-midterms-keep-crypto-traders-on-the-sidelines-span-span">US Midterms Keep Crypto Traders on the Sidelines</h2>
<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/us-midterms-today-election-bitcoin-sec-cftc-crypto-rules" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Election Day was November 3</a>. All 435 House seats and 35 Senate seats were up for grabs.
Results are still coming in, and many traders want clarity before they place big bets.
Binance Research says Bitcoin gained 54% on average in the 12 months after past midterms. That is history, not a promise. This time can play out differently.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-crypto-fear-and-greed-index-rises-to-34-but-fear-still-rules-span-span">Crypto Fear and Greed Index Rises to 34, but Fear Still Rules</h2>
The <a href="https://alternative.me/crypto/fear-and-greed-index/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Fear and Greed Index</a> reads 34 today, which is still in the Fear zone. It was 26 yesterday, so the mood improved a little.
A week ago, the reading was 51, or Neutral. A month ago, it stood at 70, which is Greed.
That is a big swing in sentiment. Traders look careful, and many want proof before they buy.<img alt="Fear and Greed Index reads 34 today" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/qJRmgnaLDgOpKmZCLUzxFUYCF5Rqutyl0RPfywwQ.jpg" width="300" height="330" title="Fear and Greed Index reads 34 today">
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-ethereum-eth-can-buyers-defend-2-171-and-reclaim-2-500-span-span">Ethereum (ETH): Can Buyers Defend $2,171 and Reclaim $2,500?</h2>
Ethereum fell 22.64%, from $2,806 to a low of $2,171. ETH trades near $2,292 on the chart.
The TD Sequential flashed a buy signal on the 3-day chart. That hints the correction could be nearing its end.
<a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/bitcoin-ethereum-xrp-crash-will-prices-recover-after-us-midterms" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">If buying pressure picks up</a>, ETH could rebound to $2,500. A break above that level would put the setup resistance trendline near $2,700 in focus.<img alt="Ethereum ETH: Can Buyers Defend $2,171 and Reclaim $2,500?" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/4MDFOXcakaaGVZlVx1FVyo0ENLV9M860K89wVVBt.jpg" width="300" height="622" title="Ethereum ETH: Can Buyers Defend $2,171 and Reclaim $2,500?">
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-solana-sol-90-support-holds-the-key-to-a-bounce-toward-105-span-span">Solana (SOL): $90 Support Holds the Key to a Bounce Toward $105</h2>
Solana dropped 27.31%, from $124.89 to $90.78. SOL trades near $93.48.
The TD Sequential is still forming a buy signal on the 3-day chart. It has not fully played out yet.
If it completes and $90 holds as support, SOL could rebound toward $105. After that, the setup resistance trendline near $120 comes into view.<img alt="Solana SOL $90 Support Holds the Key to a Bounce Toward $105" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/BIAE0sfssvCNc7epZIUFjXG70yAlPPTYgvL4BfYS.jpg" width="300" height="608" title="Solana SOL $90 Support Holds the Key to a Bounce Toward $105">
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-cardano-ada-hardest-hit-now-flashing-a-fresh-9-and-sequential-13-span-span">Cardano (ADA): Hardest Hit, Now Flashing a Fresh 9 and Sequential 13</h2>
Cardano took the biggest fall of the three. ADA lost 35.41%, from $0.2822 to $0.1823, and now trades near $0.191.
A fresh 9 and a Sequential 13 buy signal both appeared on the 3-day chart.
If buyers step in, $0.2268 is the first level to watch. A break above it would bring the setup resistance trendline near $0.2677 into focus.<img alt="Cardano ADA Hardest Hit, Now Flashing a Fresh 9 and Sequential 13" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/HjxJbpR6VLZqaCMv3EAkPpqXp3VMaeU6sgp5FDnV.jpg" width="300" height="628" title="Cardano ADA Hardest Hit, Now Flashing a Fresh 9 and Sequential 13">

A buy signal only shows that a trend may be tired. It needs buyers to follow through.
If ETH slips under $2,171, SOL loses $90, or ADA falls below $0.1823, these setups get weaker. Election news could also add sudden swings.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-traders-wait-for-buyers-and-election-clarity-span-span">Traders Wait for Buyers and Election Clarity</h2>
The charts point to a possible bounce, but the market has the final word.
The altcoin story depends on whether ETH holds $2,171, <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/price-prediction/solana-eyes-90-as-elliott-wave-points-to-bounce-from-74-support" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">SOL holds $90</a>, and ADA clears $0.2268.
