Resistance

Meta AI’s projection for a potential surge in the price of XRP rests on an assumed, rather than confirmed, transformation of the cross-border payments landscape. The analysis from CryptoNews clarifies that the AI-generated scenario does not reference any official deal with major banks or payment consortiums, and these conditions remain speculative at this stage.

XRP price forecast based on hypothetical adoption

CryptoNews reported that Meta AI outlined a scenario in which XRP could reach double-digit values if significant institutional players—including a global payments consortium and several major commercial banks—were to adopt the XRP Ledger for cross-border corporate and trade-finance transactions. This scenario is presented as conditional, and no actual participation or formal commitments from such organizations have been identified so far.

The report suggested that such institutional adoption could dramatically increase demand for XRP as a bridge asset, potentially positioning it as a market leader heading into late 2026 and 2027. However, the article does not provide any supporting details such as agreements, timelines, or projected transaction volumes that would confirm this pathway.

These projections should be treated as scenario-driven outputs, not official statements or guarantees.

Technical analysis within the report placed XRP consolidating between $1.20 and $1.30, with notable resistance around $1.35 to $1.45. A breakout above the $1.60 to $1.80 area could indicate further strength, leading to a possible retest of the previous all-time high close to $3.65. Support was cited near $1.18 to $1.22 and $1.10 to $1.15, while momentum indicators were described as neutral to corrective, with some potential for an overbought move if momentum accelerates.

CryptoNews observed that while substantial institutional payment flows could increase the demand for XRP, the scenario remains speculative with no confirmed bank or consortium adoption at this stage.

Binance resumes withdrawals, addresses aftermath of security incident

Separately, Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, announced plans to gradually restart withdrawals after a significant security breach. The company stated that withdrawals would become available again in a phased approach, starting November 1, following a comprehensive security review.

Binance reported that user funds remained untouched throughout the incident, with the exchange absorbing the full financial losses and recovering about 95% of the affected sum. All deposits reportedly continued uninterrupted, and the company said it was actively collaborating with law enforcement and external partners on further recovery efforts.

In response to the breach, Binance emphasized that user funds were secure and that the company had taken responsibility for the entire loss, assuring customers of continued platform reliability.

CryptoNews described the event as the largest recorded exchange hack to date. The report attributed market resilience to the absence of a wider collapse and highlighted that transparent communication from Binance may help restore industry confidence. However, critical details about the breach itself, the technical recovery process, and an independent verification of Binance’s claims remain unavailable.

Evidence for Meta AI scenario remains limited

The alleged Meta AI scenario lacks transparency, as CryptoNews does not include the precise AI prompt, a complete transcript, or direct confirmation from Meta Platforms. There is no indication that the forecast represents an official company statement or outlook, and it should be viewed as a technology-generated scenario rather than a binding prediction.

No evidence has surfaced of any formal agreements between major banks or payment consortiums and the XRP Ledger, and no payment volumes or implementation timetables have been presented. This leaves the asserted link between institutional adoption and a potential double-digit XRP price in the realm of speculation.

For Binance, the public statements do not provide complete technical or financial details about the breach, nor do they clarify how phased withdrawal access is being managed for different users or account types. While the operational update signals steps toward normalcy, there is no clear resolution for all outstanding issues.

Market and user implications

The current outlook for XRP remains dependent on unconfirmed future institutional adoption and accompanying settlement activity. CryptoNews does not specify any projected increase in transactional demand that might push XRP into double digits, and the report’s scenario should not be mistaken for a consensus or base-case forecast.

For Binance users, the company’s phased withdrawal plan and its insistence on fund security are noted, but with limited independent verification or timelines for a full operational recovery. The recovery process and precise details of the hack remain unresolved based on the publicly provided information.
