PAX Gold

Can PAX Gold hold $3,960? Maybe, but the chart leans weak. PAX Gold Price Prediction, a token that tracks one ounce of gold, trades at $3,980.67. That is under $4,000 and under both EMAs, after a break of a rising trendline on the 4-hour chart.
The Binance hack, which Binance calls a security incident, adds stress to crypto markets.

Why is the $PAXG price down today?

PAX Gold price today is down 1.19% to $3,980.67 in 24h, underperforming a 1.02% drop in physical gold and tracking a broader crypto market sell-off, primarily driven by fallout from the massive Binance hack.
Primary reason: Binance hack fallout and associated $PAXG token freeze, creating market-wide fear and specific selling pressure.
Secondary reasons: Decline in the spot price of gold and beta-driven selling amid a risk-off crypto market.

Crypto News Today: Binance Hack

Binance said the incident had an estimated impact of about $6.3 billion, with about $3 billion frozen. Co-CEO Yi He said on X that the first findings point to a compromised engineer's laptop.
Binance says user funds are safe, it will cover all losses, and withdrawals should resume within 48 hours. CoinGabbar did not confirm they have.
PAXG trades on crypto exchanges, so exchange stress matters to holders. The reports we read do not name $PAXG, so a direct effect is not proven.

PAXG Liquidation Data

A liquidation is a forced close of a leveraged trade when the trader can no longer cover losses. Longs bet on a rise, and shorts bet on a fall.

Longs took about 98% of the $337.60K liquidated over 24 hours. About 75% of the total came in the last 12 hours, which fits the slide under the trendline.

Sellers capped $PAXG near $4,200.46 through mid-October. It then dropped to around $4,000 by October 22.
From the October 23 low, the price rose along a rising trendline, a slanted boundary joining higher lows. It reached $4,080.79 on October 28, then fell back.
Over the last two days, candles slipped under the trendline and under $4,000. The current candle opened at $3,975.17 and printed $3,980.67, a small green bounce. It was still open, so the close can change.

Bull case: A close above the 20 EMA at $4,018.37, about 1% higher, then the 50 EMA at $4,037.63 would put $4,080.79 in view.
Bear case: If $PAXG closes below $3,960.21, about 0.5% lower, price could slide about 2% toward $3,901.58.

It would take a gain of about 5.5% from $3,980.67. Any PAXG prediction toward that level needs more than a bounce, since price must clear $4,000, both EMAs and $4,080.79 first.

PAXG Price Prediction: CoinGabbar Expert View

The trendline break and the EMA order lean bearish in the short term, and the Binance headlines add risk.
The 4-hour chart reacts fast, so signals can flip within a day. The level to watch is $3,960.21. A close below it would open $3,901.58, while a close above the 20 EMA would be the first real sign of strength.
