Dark Defender (@DefendDark) built his reputation analyzing XRP. Now he has shared a major prediction for the entire crypto market.
He posted a 3-month chart of the total crypto market cap and wrote, “Crypto Total Market Cap is still targeting $23 trillion. Lives are about to change.”
The total crypto market currently sits at $2.67 trillion. That figure would need to grow more than 8.6x to reach his target. The market hit an all-time high of $4.27 trillion in July 2025 <a href="https://timestabloid.com/ripple-cto-clarifies-discrepancy-about-xrp-price-all-time-high/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">when XRP rose to its own all-time high</a>. This projected valuation dwarfs that figure.

<h2 id="strong-analyzing-the-3-month-chart-strong">Analyzing the 3-Month Chart</h2>
The chart runs from 2014 to a projected 2031. Dark Defender applies Elliott Wave analysis to the total crypto market cap. The market completed a large ABC corrective structure between 2018 and 2019, with Waves A-C labeled on the chart.
Waves 1 and 2 followed. The market is <a href="https://timestabloid.com/top-analyst-says-xrp-wave-3-is-on-a-ballistic-missile-ramp/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">currently inside Wave 3</a>, which remains active and incomplete. The 161.8% Fibonacci extension projects Wave 3 to reach $23.26 trillion.
That is the immediate major target Dark Defender has identified. After Wave 3 completes, the count projects a Wave 4 correction followed by a final Wave 5 push. The 200% Fibonacci extension places the target at $82.67 trillion.
The RSI on the chart sits near 56.16. Dark Defender circled the RSI area and linked it to the current price action. He also highlighted support levels. The current market cap of sits above the 85.4% Fibonacci retracement level of $1.84 trillion and the 70.2% level at $1.11 trillion.
<h2 id="strong-dark-defender-s-track-record-on-xrp-strong">Dark Defender’s Track Record on XRP</h2>
Dark Defender has maintained a consistently bullish stance on XRP throughout this cycle. He identified Wave 2 on XRP as a completed ABC running flat structure and established $1.29 as the critical support level for the bull case to hold. XRP currently trades at $1.28.
He placed the first resistance zone at $1.44 to $1.56 and stated that a breakout above $1.56 <a href="https://timestabloid.com/top-analyst-says-double-digits-will-be-instant-once-xrp-crosses-this-level/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">would send XRP to double digits rapidly</a>.
<h2 id="strong-bullishness-that-extends-beyond-xrp-strong">Bullishness That Extends Beyond XRP</h2>
The XRP logo appears on the total market chart. His conviction now covers the entire crypto market, <a href="https://timestabloid.com/analyst-to-xrp-holders-the-biggest-altseason-in-crypto-history-is-loading/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">suggesting altseason could begin soon</a>. He sees total market cap growing from $2.67 trillion to $23.26 trillion before Wave 3 even completes.
XRP holds a market cap of $81.51 billion with a dominance of 3.08%. Dark Defender’s analysis suggests the largest moves are still ahead.
