Oil is back in focus. <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crude-oil-price-prediction-crack-spread-signals-move" style="font-size: 16px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255)" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Brent crude jumped above $117</a> per barrel for the first time since March 19. This oil price prediction covers the key levels, the news behind the move, and what it could mean for crypto.
$100+ oil is back. Traders are worried that the <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/why-is-crude-oil-price-rising-today-saudi-attack-reason" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">US may renew strikes</a> on Iran.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-why-are-oil-prices-rising-today-span-span">Why Are Oil Prices Rising Today?</h2>
Fear is the main driver. Markets are afraid that the US will hit Iran again.
Brent traded as high as $117.45, and last showed $117.38, up 3.96% on the day. It is now about $2 away from its high of the year. Another reading puts it less than 2% from a fresh 4-year high.
Inflation expectations are also moving higher.
<a href="https://x.com/KobeissiLetter/status/2113668947467984906" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">A prediction market now shows</a> a 34% chance that US crude rises above $110 by the end of this month. That is a new high for this bet.<img alt="34% chance that US crude rises above $110 by the end of this month" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/wV6zx0Q30zGxsSyfT8CWWSg6WitM23yF8Vuawjwv.jpg" width="300" height="502" title="34% chance that US crude rises above $110 by the end of this month">
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-oil-price-prediction-today-can-wti-break-105-span-span">Oil Price Prediction Today: Can WTI Break $105?</h2>
WTI crude futures last traded near $103.27, up 3.82% for the day. The daily chart shows a symmetrical triangle. Price is now testing a resistance&nbsp;around $104 to $105.
Price sits above all four moving averages. The RSI is at 68.24, which means buyers are strong, but the market is close to overbought.

The short-term view stays bullish while WTI holds above $95. But a clean close above $105 is needed first.<img alt="Oil Price Prediction Today: Can WTI Break $105?" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/rh753GHqWfmPtKwjmFeB00JK16BhPD0krIgTCtkI.jpg" width="300" height="674" title="Oil Price Prediction Today: Can WTI Break $105?">
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-is-the-us-strategic-petroleum-reserve-at-its-lowest-since-1982-span-span">Is the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve at Its Lowest Since 1982?</h2>
Yes, it is. The US released up to 400,000 barrels of emergency oil after a Louisiana refinery disruption.
The oil is a loan. The company must return it later with extra barrels.<img alt="Is the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve at Its Lowest Since 1982?" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/A7qfoDuckZC2guehIEpvg14mKnOHu3i3Iw6tOzhi.jpg" width="300" height="141" title="Is the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve at Its Lowest Since 1982?">
The reserve is now at its lowest level since 1982. That leaves less cushion if supply gets hit again.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-are-middle-east-oil-exports-back-to-pre-conflict-levels-span-span">Are Middle East Oil Exports Back to Pre-Conflict Levels?</h2>
Mostly, yes. <a href="https://x.com/SecScottBessent/status/2113742459708817430" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent</a> said exports from the Persian Gulf have passed pre-conflict levels.
The Treasury chart tracks crude and condensate shipments through the Strait of Hormuz, Oman and Fujairah ports, and the Red Sea. Flows fell sharply in March. They now sit near 17 to 18 million barrels per day, compared with about 17 million in the January to February average.
Bessent said Iran's threats have failed to stop energy flows. Steady supply could limit how far prices run.<img alt="Are Middle East Oil Exports Back to Pre-Conflict Levels?" src="https://d3iuzwoiyg9qa8.cloudfront.net/webadmin/storage/public/commonEditerImage/ejsQyHCnttTPRpdcjD3D6FEacDeVssDh4F1NxGZH.jpg" width="300" height="594" title="Are Middle East Oil Exports Back to Pre-Conflict Levels?">
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-is-china-buying-more-oil-again-span-span">Is China Buying More Oil Again?</h2>
It looks that way. China's crude imports and forward shipments are rebounding sharply from July lows.
Is a new wave of global demand pressure building? It is too early to say. But it adds another reason to watch Brent.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-will-brent-oil-reach-150-a-barrel-span-span">Will Brent Oil Reach $150 a Barrel?</h2>
Some traders are asking this. With war now hitting energy infrastructure, Brent is heading back toward a line that stopped oil in both 2008 and 2022.
Brent first needs to break its high of the year, which is only about $2 away. $150 is a question on the table, not a forecast.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-why-are-gold-and-silver-prices-falling-today-oil-and-fed-pressure-span-span">Why Are Gold and Silver Prices Falling Today? Oil and Fed Pressure</h2>
Gold (XAU) fell over 1.24% on Friday&nbsp;to reach key support at $4,000. Silver (XAG) dropped over 1.90% and broke the $55 support.
The pressure came as oil gained after attacks in Saudi Arabia. That raised supply worries in the Middle East.
High fuel costs can keep inflation high. That can push the Federal Reserve to keep policy tight.
Markets expect the Fed to hold its target range in October. But the expectation of a rate hike in December remains high. This keeps gold and silver under pressure in the short term.
The 10-year US Treasury yield rose&nbsp;to 4.9999% on Friday&nbsp;as investors sought safety in bonds.
A pullback in oil may help gold recover from $4,000. But more selling across markets could limit a bounce before next week's Fed meeting.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-how-does-oil-affect-stocks-bitcoin-gold-and-silver-prices-today-span-span">How Does Oil Affect Stocks, Bitcoin, Gold and Silver Prices Today?</h2>
Many traders see oil as a key macro signal for the next 1 to 6 months, because it feeds inflation and rate expectations.

<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-is-oil-bullish-or-bearish-right-now-span-span">Is Oil Bullish or Bearish Right Now?</h2>
The oil price prediction leans bullish in the short term, but nothing is certain. A breakout above $105 could open $108 to $112. A rejection could send WTI back to $100 or $98.
Watch Iran headlines, the SPR, and Gulf export data. Manage your risk carefully.
