A post says Sui's Hashi initiative is targeting over $500M to bring Bitcoin-backed finance on-chain, with Anchorage Digital in the coalition. Can that lift SUI? Not by itself. It is a target, not funds already on the network, and the price still sits inside a falling channel just under $1.00.

Kyle Chassé posted that Hashi targets over $500M in committed capital to bring Bitcoin-backed finance on-chain and that Anchorage Digital is part of the institutional coalition. On-chain means recorded and run on a blockchain.

He asks whether Sui can turn that interest into onchain demand. CoinGabbar could not verify the figure or the coalition, so treat both as claims.

A liquidation happens when an exchange force-closes a leveraged trade because the trader can no longer cover losses. Longs bet on a rise, and shorts bet on a fall. Coinglass shows:

Longs took about 87% of the $763.01K liquidated over 24 hours and about 66% of the 12-hour total. Falling price forces long trades closed, which fits a market sliding inside its channel.
Coinglass futures volume leads with Binance at $168.00M, MEXC at $71.04M, OKX at $66.23M and Bybit at $48.18M. The screenshot gives no time window.

A channel is a pair of sloping trend lines that hold price inside a range. SUI peaked in late September and has moved lower inside a falling channel since.
Price is still inside it and sits just under the upper line. Today's candle opened at $0.97159, touched a high of $1.00206 and closed the reading at $0.99008.
A daily close above the upper line would be a channel breakout. Until then, the move is a bounce.

Bull case: A daily close above the channel's upper line and then $1.04987 would signal a breakout, with $1.14916 next.
Bear case: A slide to $0.85128 opens if SUI closes a day below $0.95057, since that would lose the first marked support.

It would take a gain of about 28% from $0.99008. Any Sui prediction near that level needs more than headlines, since SUI must leave the channel and pass $1.04987 and $1.14916 first.
A Bitcoin finance target and a buyback total do not guarantee that path.

The main risk is a daily close below $0.95057, which would put the first marked support in doubt.
