Crypto market news has spent a year repeating one worry, that the market never healed from last October’s crash. Kaiko’s latest numbers say otherwise. Bitcoin futures bets still sit about 16% below their level before October 10, 2025, yet borrowed money has fallen even faster than the cash behind trades.

When borrowed money leaves, it becomes easier to see where real money wants to go. A good share of it has been flowing into Pepeto, the new project from Pepe’s own cofounder, where buyers have paid in over $11.1 million during the presale while its bridge and exchange already run.

Crypto Market News: Borrowed Bets Fell Faster Than Market Depth, Says Kaiko

Start with depth. Kaiko’s October 19 data shows spot order books now hold 27% fewer dollars than before the crash.

The bigger story is leverage, the money traders borrow to bet bigger. It is now 20% lower for each dollar of depth, ChainCatcher reported on October 20, so borrowing shrank faster than the market behind it.

That is quietly bullish. With less betting on borrowed cash, the market moves on real buying, and real buying tends to stick around longer.

Today’s Market Picks, From a Free Bridge to Two Big Coins

Pepeto: A Bridge That Moves Coins Across Five Chains for $0

A market running on real money needs tools that move that money cheaply, and Pepeto built one before it even listed. Its cofounder took the original Pepe coin past $11 billion with no products at all. This time he is starting again from presale, listed nowhere, but with the products already working.

The bridge shows it best. Moving coins between chains often costs $15 to $50 elsewhere and can take minutes or hours, while Pepeto’s bridge charges $0 in fees, with only gas to pay, and finishes in under 60 seconds. One transfer took 41 seconds. Elsewhere every move has a price, and here the move itself is free.

Coins lock in an audited contract on the first chain, and once that lock is proven on chain, the same amount is minted on the second. There is no wrapped IOU, so every coin on the far side is real, and total supply stays the same on every chain. A failed transfer reverses on its own, so funds come back instead of getting stuck, no company holds the coins, and nobody approves a transfer by hand.

The bridge runs across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Base and Arbitrum, next to the PepetoSwap exchange at a 0.00% trading fee. SolidProof audited the code, the raise sits above $11.1 million, and a Binance listing is approaching.

Each new stage lifts the price, so buyers at this stage pay the early rate for a bridge that already works, before the wider market gets the chance to price it.

Chainlink (LINK): A Treasury Fund Picks LINK Price Feeds

Chainlink just landed a heavyweight client. On October 19, Archax picked Chainlink to price GOVY, its fund of US Treasury tokens, The Paypers reported, while LINK trades at $12.32, up 2.7% in a day, per CoinMarketCap.

From our view, that is a strong long-term sign. Still, LINK sits 76.7% below its $52.88 peak from May 2021, so it must grow more than four times to see that high again.

Tron (TRX): A Company Keeps Buying TRX Every Day

Tron has a buyer that never stops. Tron Inc. bought 148,607 more TRX at about $0.3365 on October 17, lifting its stack above 719.2 million, CoinTurk reported. TRX trades at $0.3310.

In our analysis, steady corporate buying makes a healthy floor. But at $31 billion in value and 24.9% under its $0.4407 peak, TRX needs a flood of new money just to double, and much of that good news is already in the price.

Crypto Market News Wrap: The Pepe Pattern Is Lining Up Again

Today’s crypto market news shows a calmer, healthier market, and LINK and TRX are priced for steady work rather than a sudden jump. Pepeto is not, because its cofounder already took the first Pepe coin past $11 billion with no products at all.

Pepe’s peak price of $0.00002825 sits about 149 times above Pepeto’s current stage price, and both coins carry roughly 420 trillion tokens, so with a live bridge and exchange now behind the meme, this stage is where buyers can still get in at the start of that pattern rather than halfway through it.
