The developing signal could indicate improving momentum, but confirmation depends on the monthly close and subsequent price action.

ETH, APT, SUI, SEI, NEAR, and HBAR have distinct ecosystems and market drivers that could affect their performance.

Trading volume, resistance levels, Bitcoin's direction, and liquidity conditions could determine whether a broader altcoin recovery develops.

The monthly MACD seems to have formed a potential bull signal and the altcoin market is once again in focus. Traders can watch some of the leading cryptocurrencies, such as Ethereum (ETH), Aptos (APT), Sui (SUI), Sei (SEI), NEAR Protocol (NEAR), and Hedera (HBAR) as momentum gathers.

The monthly Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) is also signaling a bullish cross in the bigger picture of the altcoin market. When the MACD line crosses above the signal line, it is a buy signal indicating that the upward trend could be gaining strength. Since the monthly candles represent the market's trend over a longer time frame, the indicator can be used to gauge the overall market trend instead of price movements.

The setup is developing, which has been given a lot of attention as a bullish monthly cross has sometimes been followed by a longer rally for the altcoins. But, history does not ensure continued trends. Even though, confirmation is still relevant, especially in times when cryptocurrency prices are affected by liquidity, Bitcoin's trend, interest-rate outlook and investor demand. When a potential crossover may occur also is significant. The signal may get weaker before the monthly candle's close, and there can be a false bullish move that fails to generate a bull market.

As the Bitcoin momentum continues to grow and the coin is not severely declining, the altcoins may get more breathing space. But a more significant move higher may stall if the price of Bitcoin weakens or liquidity in the market shrinks. It is not, however, a sign of another altcoin rally starting, it is merely a technical development to keep an eye on.

Ethereum also continues to be a key component of the decentralized finance (DeFi) movement, smart contracts, and the broader blockchain ecosystem, making it a valuable investment to monitor. If ETH can continue its upward momentum in a month, this will provide the broader altcoin market with a boost of confidence. But the recovery would still be related to the resistance levels, network activity and demand for ETH.

Aptos and Sui have different metrics as to how to measure market participation. Both networks are capable of smart contracts and decentralized applications, putting their tokens in the competition with the blockchain users and developers. APT's price movement can be analyzed in the context of network adoption, token supply modifications, and overall market demand.

Traders looking at SUI can consider the activity in the ecosystem, the volume of trading and if the price increases continue to be supported. A market-wide crossover by either of the two tokens doesn't create a fresh bull run. The price strength of each asset needs to be proven and able to provide support during market downturns.

SEI, NEAR, and HBAR Add Three More Altcoins to the Watchlist

HBAR is used to build applications on the Hedera distributed ledger. While both are positively affected by the general sentiment towards cryptocurrencies, their market response could vary when it comes to adoption rates, liquidity and investor demand.

In all three of the assets, a monthly MACD confirmed crossover would be one technical indicator instead of a trading signal. Momentum would be determined by price breakouts, volume of the trade and consistent support.

The monthly closes will see if the emerging signal is strengthening or weakening in the coming months. ETH, APT, SUI, SEI, NEAR and HBAR are all assets to keep an eye on until confirmation arrives — and not a guaranteed money spinner.
